This contracting service structured way to get real feedback on your early hardware. Osilab performs basic functional checks, fit tests, or simple stress/usage trials and summarizes the results in a short, actionable report with recommendations for the next iteration.
Perfect for:
How pricing works:
You share what the prototype is supposed to do (fit, function, durability, ergonomics, etc.) and what you’re worried about. Together, we pick a small set of simple, realistic tests (for example: “fit with part X,” “survives 20 cycles,” “holds Y kg without visible damage”).
Either Osilab prints the prototype (using your files or paired with the CAD service) or you ship your existing part. We confirm the test setup, any special handling notes, and the conditions you care about (temperature, orientation, use-case).
Osilab performs the agreed tests: fit checks, repeated use, light loading, basic dimensional checks, or other simple scenarios defined in Step 1. Observations, failures, and surprising behaviors are noted so you don’t just get a “yes/no,” but real context.
You receive a short, clear summary: what worked, what didn’t, where the design struggled, and what that likely means. The report includes concrete suggestions for the next design iteration or follow-up tests, so you know exactly how to move forward instead of guessing.
